The company has opened 11 of the restaurants it plans to open in fiscal 2001, andexpects to have two more open this month, which marks the middle of its fiscal 2001 year.
The company has entered four new markets this year and it will open in one additional new market in the second half of fiscal 2001, says Joseph P. Micatrotto, chairman, CEO and president. Micatrotto adds he anticipates his company will be able to open morerestaurants in the first half of fiscal 2002 than it did during the first half of fiscal 2001.
Buca owns and operates BUCA di BEPPO restaurants, a collection of 62 restaurants in 19 states and the District of Columbia.
