DALLAS-Leasing activity in the Dallas-Ft. Worth region is going strong, with brokers closing six deals for a total of 44,229 sf, one of which is an out-of-state pact.

In Grand Prairie's section of the Great Southwest Industrial Park, Crawford & Co. LP, an insurance investigation firm based in Georgia, is relocating and expanding with the move. Henry S. Miller Commercial's David Dunn tells GlobeSt.com that Crawford & Co.'s 5,599-sf long-term lease will take the 74,000-sf flex building to 60% occupancy.

The tenant has just completed moving into the building at 2036 N. Highway 360 from a South Arlington location. Dunn and Larry G. Rodgers, also of Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial, have represented the building owner, Assem Family LP of Texas. Rosie Kartalis of Henry S. Miller Commercial has acted on the tenant's behalf.

At Dallas-based Baker Commercial Realty Inc., Bill Tuohy has represented True Technology Solutions in a sublease for 6,632 sf at 8200 Springwood in Irving. Helen Hudson with TIG Real Estate Group has acted for the sublessor, Advantage Sales & Marketing.

Party King Beverage & Coda Supply & Services Inc. have inked a five-year lease for 8,876 sf of office-warehouse space at 5145 Norwood Rd. in Dallas. The beverage supplier has relocated its corporate headquarters from Ft. Worth to Dallas with the move. Nathan Denton of Henry S. Miller Commercial has acted for the tenant. David Easterling and Matt Smith, both of CB Richard Ellis' Dallas office, has represented the building owner, Paul A. Willsie Co., in the signing.

Baker Commercial's David Ellis and Kevin McGovern have represented medical Advisory Services for Healthcare in negotiating a 5,707-sf lease at Exchange Park. Moody Younger of Stream Realty Partners of Dallas has acted for the owner of the building located at 274 Treadway in Dallas.

In Arlington, Henry S. Miller Commercial's Peter Kosley has signed 3d Washworld to 5,200 sf at the Pioneer Village Shopping Center. The lease will mark the laundromat's ninth location. Kosley has represented the tenant and building owner, Pioneer Parkway Ltd.

Ft. Worth-based Woodmont Co.'s vice president Duke Snider has sealed an out-of-state lease, signing Famous Footwear to 12,105-sf pact at Eastgate Plaza in Wichita, KS. Famous Footwear had been leasing 5,500 sf at the center. Snider has acted on behalf of the building owner, Eastgate Plaza. The expanded store will open in August.
