DPT US Inc. has taken 7,500 sf of research and development in sublease space in Cameron Creek Business Park at 9001 Cameron Rd. in northeast Austin. The company already has 10,800 sf at 9101 Wall St. in Austin. The Austin-based Colliers Oxford team of Mike Tipps and Bob Wynn has handled the transaction.

DPT US is the American branch of Display Products Technology, based in Scotland. The company repairs a variety of products, including liquid crystal displays, laptop computers, flat panel monitors and plasma displays. Founded in 1993, DPT has locations in East Kilbride, Scotland, and Taipei, Taiwan.

In another transaction, Tipps and Wynn have put McShane Corp. into 6,000 sf of office space at the Terrace II building. McShane is a Chicago-based real estate developer with several projects underway in Austin. They include a two-building, 175,000-sf development at Braker Point and a one-building project, totaling 150,000 sf, at Research Boulevard and Riata Trace Parkway. It also is developing the 72-acre Commerce Center South and 52-acre Tuscany at Walnut Creek, both industrial projects.
