Dan Bergen with Colliers International in Pleasanton, tells GlobeSt.com that the office market in Hayward continues to attract Northern California bargain hunters.
"For the East Bay San Mateo Bridge area, this is a major suburban office sale," says Bergen, "and it continues the trend of engineering and construction services companies locating in the area for both its central location and economics."
Founded in 1931, Marelich Mechanical is an engineering and mechanical and industrial contracting firm. Marelich is now a part of EMCOR Group of Companies, the world's largest provider of mechanical and electrical services, with operations around the globe.
Bergen and Bob Ferraro, also with Colliers, represented The Matteson Companies in the transaction; Steve Chess with Sutherland Co. represented Marelich Mechanical. Colliers International Partnership, headquartered in San Jose, has 12 offices in California, Nevada and Texas.
