Archer will address the assembly on the significance of Detroit's 300th birthday and its role as Southeast Michigan's central city.
Items also on the agenda include presentation of Regional Ambassador awards and Public Administration Foundation awards. The assembly will also be updated on SEMCOG's progress in developing a regional plan for mass transit.
Also, SEMCOG Officers and delegates-at-large will be elected during the meeting.
The council is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting member communities with economic development, population growth and transportation issues.
