Burrill & Co. will rent the space for approximately $60 per square foot, including furniture, for 100 months. Burrill has put its' 120 Montgomery Street office space up for sublease until October 2002, offering 9,410 sf at about $31 per sf.

Whitney Cressman's Andrew Thompson tells GlobeSt.com that his client got a really good deal and everyone involved was cooperative and pleased with the results. Thompson says Burrill was looking for a large space with good views that would serve as a meeting place for its biotech investors from around the world. The space not only provided a great location and excellent views, but also met Burrill's needs for growth. About halfway through the sublease, the company will be able to expand to lease the entire floor.
