Chesterton Wins Cable & Wireless FM Contract

LONDON-Chesterton International's facilities management division has won a five-year outsourcing deal with telecoms giant Cable & Wireless.

LONDON-Chesterton International’s facilities management division has won a five-year outsourcing deal with telecoms giant Cable & Wireless. The contract covers Cable & Wireless’ entire Great Britain office portfolio, totalling over 2.2 million sf. Chesterton Workplace Management will manage contracts valued at £18 million ($25.4 million) pa.

Roger Hitchcock, Vice-President Facilities and Property at Cable & Wireless said said nine companies had been invited to provide the company with an FM strategy paper, and the contract agreed with Chesterton contains strong incentives to achieve substantial cost savings whilet maintaining a high standard of service.
