Jeff Beard, director of retail properties at The Woodlands Operating Center, has represented Wood Ridge in the lease negotiations, while the Mudds have acted on their own behalf. The shopping--which stretches for about a mile--is an older property, but had been refurbished in 1994 at the same time that The Woodlands Mall had been built.
A source for Woodlands Operating Co. LP tells GlobeSt.com that the shopping center is 94% occupied. The center includes retailers such as Mattress Giant, Office Depot, Pier I Imports, Chair King and Norwalk. The Mudds have other Oriental Rug Gallery locations in Houston.
