Collins is currently chief executive at the Bank of North Georgia in Alpharetta, GA, 30 miles north of Downtown Atlanta. Collins was corporate banking manager at the former Barnett Bank in Orlando in the 1980s and later worked with Bank of America in Southwest Florida.

The $104 million asset CNL Bank is owned by James M. Seneff Jr. and his associates at locally based CNL Holdings, a real estate investment/development conglomerate with retail and commercial properties in 50 states. Seneff is chairman/CEO of CNL Financial Group Inc.

CNL Holdings bought Beiler's $30 million-asset Alliance Bank two years ago. Alliance earned $27,000 last year; has equity capital of $8.4 million; and showed a return on equity of .36%.
