The company bought Renaissance Square Shopping Center, 1401 S. Interstate 35. The 183,547-sf retail tenants include an antique shop and Blockbuster Video store. An ORDA representative has confirmed the purchase, but is declining to provide further details. ORDA has picked one of the area's fastest-growing communities for its first buy. The center is positioned in a busy retail corridor of Interstate 35 between RR 620 and McNeil Road.
ORDA owns and manages one shopping center each in Bedford, Gainesville, Greenville, Grapevine, Lewisville, Lufkin, Midland, Nacogdoches and Tyler and two in Odessa, all Texas cities. It also has a holding in Farmington, NM. The Nacogdoches center is the 191,500-sf University Mall. Two of the centers total about 200,000 sf each and the rest of the retail sites are in the 100,000-sf range.
