The initial phase of Ave Maria will consist of 330,000 sf of new construction. It will include student housing, commons building, classrooms, a library, chapel and other educational facilities.

Construction will begin in the fall of 2002 and will be complete in the fall of 2003.

Plans call for several existing buildings on the property to be expanded for educational use as part of the Ave Maria College campus. Ave Maria College will serve a national competitive student population while maintaining a strong focus on Catholic spirituality.
