Insignia/ESG Signs Virginia's Thalhimer to Its SSP Program

NEW YORK CITY-Morton G. Thalhimer Inc., an 88-year old commercial real estate firm with operations in Richmond, Newport News and Norfolk, VA, has joined Insignia/ESG’s Strategic Services Provider program. Inaugurated earlier this month, SSP sets up alliances with companies in other US markets where the firm seeks to establish a presence without maintaining its own operations.

Under the arrangement, the Virginia company will operate as Insignia Thalhimer. The firm’s client includes Georgia Pacific, Circuit City Stores, Home Depot and Wal-Mart. Its staff of approximately 300 professionals in three offices manage more than 16.5 million sf of space and were involved in transactions involving over 7.5 million sf of sales and leasing last year.
