CHULA VISTA, CA-Five new leases have been signed for space at Gateway Chula Vista, a 346,000-sf mixed-use development on 4.5 acres at the northwest corner of Third Avenue and H Street. The $82-million project will include three buildings totaling about 62,000 sf of retail and about 285,000 sf of office space.

San Diego County Credit Union signed a 20-year lease for 7,964 sf. Velure Investments signed a seven-year lease for 2,100 sf. Global Fax Network signed a seven-year lease for 1,500 sf. United Title Escrow signed a five-year lease for 1,605 sf and Chiyoda Integra of Tokyo has signed a five-year lease for 1,139 sf.

The five new leases, valued at more than $5.5 million, are for space in the first phase of the project, which consists of a five-story office over retail building totaling 100,259 sf, with completion scheduled for February. Christopher Lewis of Mountain West Real Estate and Richard Gonor of Business Real Estate Brokerage Co./NAI represented all parties in the office lease transactions.
