The Finger Cos., a Houston-based investment builder, had bought the 36.4-acre site in January from Stratus Properties for $5 million. The multifamily development, at Rialto Boulevard and Terravista Drive, will contain town home-style units with attached garages and units in multi-story units in traditional garden style buildings.
Finger Construction Co. will act as the general contractor on the project. Wallace Garcia of Houston has been chosen as the architect and Land Strategies as the land planner. The project is on Dallas-based Stratus Properties' 500-acre Lantana development along William Cannon Boulevard near Southwest Parkway. Stratus has developed two office buildings on the land and has two more in the offing. Lantana is projected to add 1.7 million sf of office and retail space to the market.
