Colliers Jardine, with its head office in Hong Kong, is a 50/50 joint venture of the Jardine Matheson Group and Colliers Macaulay Nicolls of North America. EggSystems is a global real estate technology enterprise based in Singapore and with its US headquarters in Minneapolis.
Colliers International Asset Management will utilize Eggsystems' customized software applications to manage their current Singapore property portfolio remotely from Eggsystems' servers via the Internet, employing standard browser software.
The new company, which will name a CEO soon, will retain all the property management staff of Colliers Jardine's Real Estate Management Division and will include specialists from EggSystems.
The goal is to enhance service capacity and responsiveness at the same time for real estate developers and management corporations of strata-titled properties. Jonathan Petit, Group Chief Executive Officer of Colliers Jardine says using the combined resources of both companies CIAM is positioned to offer "a differentiated service … in the increasingly competitive market environment."
Keith Kithsiri, President of EggSystems Asia says that combining the two companies' strengths "gives us a real opportunity to demonstrate on a large scale how the practical application of technology to on-the-ground management expertise can create additional value for the real estate industry, owners and its occupants."
The Colliers Jardine Group of companies currently maintains 36 wholly and majority owned subsidiaries in 12 countries across Asia Pacific. In total, Colliers International has over 200 offices worldwide in 52 countries on six continents with approximately 4,900 property professionals, of whom, 900 are with Colliers Jardine.
