The Exchange will create for the first time an online marketplace of Atlanta's office and industrial properties. The founding members are local, regional and national brokerages and real estate services firms active in the Atlanta market.
Brokers control the quantity and quality of the information that goes into the data collection system. They are also responsible for updating that information regularly. One of the key benefits to brokers is expected to be the sharing of available space and rents in office and industrial product.
James Phillpott is chief operating officer of the exchange. Danny Levison of MK Management and his team will collect the data.
