CB Hillier Parker Loses Two Top Brokers

LONDON-Mark Barnwell and Mike Tomkinson are to leave CB Hillier Parker to join developer and investor Carisbrooke. Barnwell has just completed London's biggest deal of the year on Berkeley Square.

LONDON-CB Hillier Parker, the UK arm of CB Richard Ellis, has lost two top investment brokers. Mark Barnwell and Mike Tomkinson are to leave CB Hillier Parker’s Investment Properties Group to form Carisbrooke Alliance, a new property company with Nic Rumsey and Neil Young of Carisbrooke Investments.

Young and Rumsey formed Carisbrooke Investments in 1998. They created the 112 acre Cambridge Research Park which they sold to Slough Estates last year and have built up a £200 million ($282 million) investment portfolio and currently have a 1 million sf development programme.
