Petersen will be responsible for the property management, leasing, and overall financial performance for the San Jose region which totals 10.9 million sf, comprising 6.8 million sf of office space and 4.1 million sf of R&D/industrial space.

At Spieker, he was responsible for operations, leasing, property management, development, acquisitions and dispositions for 3 million sf of office space. Prior to Spieker, Petersen served as a general manager for TrizecHahn in Atlanta and Detroit, and also worked as a broker for Frederick Ross Company in Denver.
