Roel Construction Co. is handling development of the hotel at 250 Fifth Ave. It's one of a handful of new hotel projects in the Downtown area, which is seeing a resurgence in the demand as the new Convention Center expansion moves toward completion.
The 30,000-sf project includes19 hotel rooms and 11 suites. The suites include three presidential suites, two conference rooms and offices.
S.D. Malkin Properties is the developer, and Newport Beach-based WATG is the architect for the project, slated for completion this month.
