HOUSTON-A local Houston investor has bought a 45,000-sf warehouse at 6101 Dixie Dr. along S. Interstate 35.

Marc Drumright of Southwest Realty Advisors has represented the buyer, Gary Worstell. John Ferruzzo of NAI Partners Commercial has acted on behalf of the seller, PLI Inc. of Galveston. Details about the sale had been unavailable at press time.

The single-story building had carried an asking price of $650,000 or $14.44 per sf, according to NAI Partners Web site. It had been built in 1958.

The sale is in keeping with Houston's popularity in the industrial market. It has been a leader nationwide, with warehouse properties regularly finding takers.
