Among the firm's local clients, which include a heavy emphasis on biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, are Genetics Institute, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, TransKaryotic Therapies, Sun Microsystems and Agilent. Finnegan plans to open its office here on 245 First Street where it will have 12 lawyers by this fall. The firm anticipates expanding to 25 lawyers within a few years.
Finnegan currently has over 250 attorneys spread throughout a number of offices in the US. In addition to its Washington DC headquarters, the firm has offices in Atlanta, Georgia, Palo Alto, California, Tokyo and Brussels.
