DVK Realty Ventures owns the building. Jeff Leenhouts of BT Commercial Real Estate represented both parties in the transaction.

The county will use the space to consolidate the five offices of its Employment and Human Services Department that are currently in various locations in the western county. It plans to move in at the beginning of next year.

"The county liked the fact that they could consolidate all 5 locations and put all of their employees under one roof," says Leenhouts. "Also, the building is right by the marina and they liked the environment."
