In Mansfield, Regency Centers' Dallas-Ft. Worth operation has hawked a 1.1-acre pad to Bank of America. Regency is unable to provide details about the proposed bank, but did disclose it has paid $700,000 for the site at the 82,125-sf Matlock Center.
Regency's Matlock Center includes tenants such as Planet Beach Tan, Southwestern Bell Wireless and Ying's Cafe. The center is located at the intersection of Matlock and Debbie roads.
Shaw Industries Inc. has settled into a 30,015-sf spot at ProLogis Trust's Great Southwest Distribution Center 25 in Arlington. The location is the second in Arlington's Great Southwest submarket for the Dalton, GA-based flooring supplier, Tom Pearson, senior director of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc.'s Dallas office, tells GlobeSt.com. He and C&W associate Lizzy Pappachen have negotiated the five-year lease on the tenant's behalf. ProLogis has used in-house broker Mark Cashman for the negotiations.
Shaw Industries is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of tufted broadloom carpet. Shaw sells flooring of all types for resident and commercial properties.
In Plano, Mack-Cali's Republic Place has hit the 95% leased mark with a signing by the CPA firm of Farmer, Fuqua, Hunt and Munselle. Move-in will take place in late October or early November. The firm has taken 5,323 sf of class A space at 555 Republic Place in a six-year pact, GlobeSt.com has been told. The firm will be relocating from Central Expressway in Dallas. Rick Rensi and Molly McLeay of Mack-Cali's Dallas office have negotiated the deal with the tenant's representative, John Waller of Kennedy-Wilson in Dallas.
Woodmont Co.'s assistant vice president Andrew Scroggie has finalized a five-year lease renewal for the 22,500 sf Marshalls at Harbison Court Shopping Center in Columbia, SC. Marshalls is one of the original tenants in the 312,178-sf shopping center.
