Famous Footwear Lines Up Fourth Superstore

HOUSTON-Famous Footwear has found a fourth location for yet-another superstore in the Houston region. The retailer has finalized a 12,000-sf lease with Trammell Crow for its 270,000-sf Northwest Marketplace.

HOUSTON-Madison, WI-based Famous Footwear will open its fourth large concept store in Houston, Jim R. Smith of Boyd Page tells GlobeSt.com.

Famous Footwear is plotting a 12,000-sf retail site at Trammell Crow Co.’s under-construction Northwest Marketplace, situated on the north side of Northwest Freeway just west of W. Tidwell. The 270,000-sf development has signed tenants such as Ross, PetsMart, Office Depot and Old Navy. The project will deliver in the fourth quarter and is owned in conjunction with Granite Properties, according to a Trammell Crow contact.
