The company, which provides information about businesses through Hoovers.com, is leasing 59,500 sf of the building's 80,000 sf. It plans to occupy the rest of the space over time, Lisa Glass, Hoover's spokeswoman, tells GlobeSt.com. Austin-based Riverside Resources owns the building.

Although the outside looks much the same (it has a coat of paint and a Hoover's sign will replace the Butter Krust sign), the inside has been remodeled into office space. Built in 1960, the bakery closed in 1994 when Butter Krust was acquired.

The bakery is at 5800 Airport Blvd., across the street from Highland Mall, one of the capital city's major shopping centers. Hoover's has doubled its space by moving to the bakery from its former location, an office building at 1033 La Posada.
