Austin-based USOL has signed agreements with two Belco apartment complexes in Austin. They are the 602-unit Riverhorse Ranch Apartments, which are under construction in Pflugerville, and 320-unit Chevy Chase apartment complex at 7521 Chevy Chase in north Austin.

Under the deal, USOL's subsidiary US OnLine will provide cable television and high-speed Internet access to phase 1 of the Riverhorse complex. The Chevy Chase agreement adds Internet service to the cable TV service that US OnLine already offers at the complex.

USOL does business in Austin, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Denver, Washington, DC and Portland, OR. USOL Holdings also owns TheResidentClub, which develops Internet platforms that provide a range of private-labeled online solutions for multiple-dwelling units and other residential markets.

"We view Belco as an important, long-term strategic partner that has been instrumental in bringing our services into new and existing residential properties," Jim Livingston, USOL's CEO, says in a prepared statement. Livingston had been named CEO in June, replacing Rob Solomon, who remains as chairman of the board.
