The new building will be a pre-engineered metal building that will attach to existing buildings on two sides. About one third of the building will be used for manufacturing. The rest will be used for storage and distribution.
To make room for the new structure, older buildings were demolished and recycled. The $2 million project is scheduled for a January completion.
Wayne-Dalton first bought the facility in 1989. When the new facility is complete, it will have about 300,000-sf of buildings on the property.
