342-Unit Senior Care Facility Underway

SAN DIEGO-La Vida Real by Senior Resource Group LLC will offer 208 independent-living apartments and 84 assisted-living apartments. The community will also include a secure Alzheimer's/dementia care component.

SAN DIEGO-A locally based developer of senior projects in the Western United States has broken ground on La Vida Real, a 342-unit senior housing community in the east county suburb of Rancho San Diego.

San Diego County Supervisor Dianne Jacob, Second District, spoke at Friday’s groundbreaking of the new community within the master-planned Rancho San Diego area.

“Completion of La Vida Real will fulfill the master plan for the Rancho San Diego community that was first drawn in 1978,” says Jacob. “Senior housing was envisioned as a part of the community’s core services … we’re pleased to see the start of construction.”
