384,000-SF Office Complex Tops Out, Adds Pre-leasing

RESTON, VA-Discovery Square office complex here has topped out and its joint venture developers, Terrabrook and Boston Properties, have secured another lease for 67,158 sf, bringing the first building in the complex to more than 85% leased.

RESTON, VA-Joint venture developers Terrabrook and Boston Properties have topped out their 384,000-sf Discovery Square office complex and have secured another lease, bringing its pre-lease rate at one of the buildings to more than 85%. The latest tenant to sign on is a law firm for 67,158 sf.

Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo PC has signed on at 1 Discovery Square. This building will be delivered by the end of this year. Siebel Systems has leased floors one through six for a total of 110,832 sf. The building has a total of 177,646 rentable sf.

Also in the complex is 2 Discovery Square. Its completion is expected in April 2002. Mintz Levin also leased 22,386 sf of space there on the top floor. The building totals 185,222 sf. Clark Construction Group is the project general contractor; Gensler is the project architect.
