Hernandez has more than 20 years of business experience, including most recently as director of marketing for seven years at Fiesta Mart, a Texas-based chain of 40 supermarkets and a leading retailer targeting the Hispanic market. Mack joins Nash Finch with experience at several retailing companies, including director of retail operations forAldi, Inc., a discount food retailer and one of the world's biggest grocery chains with more than 5,000 stores worldwide.

Both Hernandez and Mack will report directly to Michael Petersen, president of retail operations.

"One of our key strategies is to explore growth opportunities for this company and we know these two store formats have significant potential," says Ron Marshall, president and CEO of Nash Finch.

Nash Finch now has three Hispanic-format stores and four Buy N Save stores in pilot operations in the Upper Midwest.
