The 2.6-acre buy is located at 6420 E. McDowell Road and includes a 26,844-sf building, which is located in the Scottsdale Auto Mall at the northeast corner of 64th Street and McDowell Road. Auto Nation plans to move from its current location at 6480 E. McDowell Rd., where it shares space with Isuzu and Hyundai franchises, also Auto Nation owned.
Auto Nation bought a series of Valley auto dealerships a few years ago when it was in the midst of launching the dealership chain. Auto Nation is said to be selling its former location in the Tempe Autoplex along Interstate 10 in Tempe. Broker Greg White of the Phoenix office of CB Richard Ellis negotiated the sale for buyer and seller, Nissan North America Inc. of Gardena, CA.
