Auto Nation's $2.3-Mil Buy Brings Site Consolidations

SCOTTSDALE, AZ-Auto Nation, based in Ft. Lauderdale, has bought a Nissan dealership in Scottsdale, opening the door to a consolidation of adjacent operations to form the nation's largest Subaru dealership. Auto Nation shells out $2.3 million.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ-The Ft. Lauderdale, FL-based Auto Nation Inc. has paid $2.3 million for a former Infiniti dealership in Scottsdale. The strategy is to consolidate the location with adjacent dealerships to form the nation’s largest freestanding Subaru dealership.

The 2.6-acre buy is located at 6420 E. McDowell Road and includes a 26,844-sf building, which is located in the Scottsdale Auto Mall at the northeast corner of 64th Street and McDowell Road. Auto Nation plans to move from its current location at 6480 E. McDowell Rd., where it shares space with Isuzu and Hyundai franchises, also Auto Nation owned.
