.Ashtenne paid £15.1 million ($21.4 million) for the portfolio, currently producing £1.6 million ($2.27 million) per annum to show initial yield of just under 10%. Helical Bar bought most of the properties two years ago from Scottish Enterprise for £13.4 million ($19 million) and over that period it has managed the properties to increase the annual income by £250,000 ($350,000) per annum.
Chris Macfarlane, partner at King Sturge who advised Helical Bar said: 'We received significant interest during the marketing of this portfolio, further highlighting the potential for excellent performance from Scottish industrials'.
