Ro Sipek has joined Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co. as property manager for the industrial division in Austin. And, Martin Down is coming on board as a vice president with the San Antonio team for Chicago-based Transwestern Commercial Services.

Sipek, who has more than nine years' experience in property and facility management, worked at Trammell Crow Global Services in Austin before joining Trammell Crow Co. She also was facility manager for Bank One, where she was responsible for 38 properties totaling more than 500,000 sf.

Down, who's worked in San Antonio real estate for about 20 years, will be involved in Transwestern's leasing projects as well as in acquiring and disposing of land and office buildings. Before joining Transwestern, Down was a principal at Apollo Commercial Realty Inc., where he specialized in development, tenant representation and acquisition and disposition. He also had been a vice president in Trammell Crow Co.'s San Antonio office, where he represented tenants and worked in development.
