Four Retailers Grab New Locations in Dallas-Ft. Worth Region

DALLAS-Cafe Brazil, Interstate Battery and Dollar Tree have selected new locations in Ft. Worth, Carrollton and Duncanville. Meanwhile, Rooms to Go, which is in the midst of a Texas expansion, has relinquished a site in Mesquite to Bally's Total Fitness.

DALLAS-Three well-known retailers in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex have snagged new locations while Rooms to Go has tunred over a Mesquite site to Bally’s Total Fitness.

Locally based Cafe Brazil is finishing out its sixth spot in the DFW region, eyeing a late August or early September opening. The Brazilian coffee shop has signed a 10-year deal for 3,330 sf in the 59,438-sf Trinity Plaza in Carrollton.

The retail lease is one of three inked recently in the DFW region as well as the sale of a Rooms to Go site in Mesquite. Cafe Brazil, a 24-hour venue, is the only eatery in the 85%-occupied Trinity Plaza, located at 2510-2540 N. Josey Lane, Alan Altick, vice president of Cencor Realty Services Inc. and plaza property manager, tells GlobeSt.com.Dennis Leibovitz and Michelle Caplan, both of Dallas-based Weitzman Group’s commercial retail division, handled the negotiations. Josey/Trinity Mills JV is the owner of the plaza, situated in the high-traffic area off Interstate 35.
