He has served as president and secretary/treasurer for BOMA/Minneapolis and chairedthe suburban issues, audit and downtown issues committees. He has served on its search committee and volunteered as a member of its nominating and budget committees, and he has also represented BOMA/Minneapolis on the Nicollet Mall Implementation Committee and the Mayor's Airport Task Force.

As a member of the Minneapolis Downtown Council, Kelly has served on the board of directors and the Skyway Advisory Committee and is presently a member of theNicollet Mall Advisory Board.

At the international level, Kelly has chaired the products and services committee and has worked on the strategic long-range plan, education, government affairs policy advisory, nominating and executive committees. He has also co-chaired the federation agreement task force, served on the president's advisory council and volunteered as a team leader.

Sherwood Johnston III, president of BOMA International, said Kelly has played an important role in the development of BOMA's strategic plan. Kelly will serve for the 2001-2002 term with Johnston and BOMA International President-Elect Larry Soehren.
