LONDON- Duke Street Holdings has put the former Billingsgate fish market, overlooking the Thames in the City of London, on the market. The property at 16 Lower Thames Street had been leased by Citibank since the market relocated to Docklands in 1986, but it has never been occupied as Citibank held it as backup disaster recovery space.

Now Duke Street Holdings has appointed Thompson Yates and GVA Grimley to find a new tenant. The landmark building, originally designed in 1874, was substantially refurbished by architect Richard Rogers to provide 84,000 sf of accommodation aimed at financial users.  The 28,000 sf former market hall on the ground floor was converted into a dealing floor,
