Foster tells GlobeSt.com that he has more than 20 years of experience in office leasing and will focus on office tenant representation in his new role. He comes to Staubach from a two-year stint at Transwestern Commercial Services' Houston office. He also has worked with VeriQuest, Trammell Crow Co. and Horne Co.

Foster has represented and leased for clients such as JP Morgan Investments, The Travelers Insurance Co., RREEF Funds and Mass Mutual. Staubach was interested in Foster because of his extensive background in strategic planning, market analysis and lease negotiations on major lease transactions.

Foster says the Houston market is steady because supply and demand seem to be in check. He sees the best opportunities for potential office tenants in the Galleria-West Loop submarket and North Loop. Foster says redeveloped space and recent vacancies in the Galleria-West Loop area have created a competitive landlord environment.
