New Bureau Chief Comes Aboard as GlobeSt.com Celebrates Its First Year

NEW YORK CITY-Glen C. Thompson brings business reporting expertise to the Northeast market as GlobeSt.com solidifies its position as the leader in Web news for the commercial real estate community.

NEW YORK CITY-Twin celebrations are taking place at GlobeSt.com. In tandem with its first-year anniversary, the commercial real estate news website welcomes journalist Glen C. Thompson as Northeast news bureau chief. He replaces Amy Vaughn, who is pursuing other interests.

Thompson has covered the commercial real estate market in various capacities over the years. As managing editor of Chicago’s Lerner Newspapers, Glen covered retail and office development along North Michigan Avenue as well as hotel and multifamily development in the neighborhoods bordering Lake Michigan.

Moving to New York City in 1996, Glen served as managing editor of a convention-trade journal, where he covered hotel and convention-center development.
