The portfolio includes 2,417,259 SF at Fleetside Commerce Center and Benicia Industrial Park, as well as 257,715 SF at Concord North Commerce Center I and II and 98,784 SF at Fairfield Commerce Center.
"The Concord and Solano County markets are linked to each other economically and will be geographically closer after the completion of the new Benicia Bridge in the latter part of 2003," says Ed Del Beccaro of Colliers. "The price per square foot has risen dramatically in Concord in the past few years, forcing some traditional users to look elsewhere. Solano County is a natural market for warehouse and industrial users looking to move from Concord."
Curt Scheve, a vice president of Colliers' Walnut Creek office, says that Rreef's acquisition of properties in both Concord and Benicia will serve the company well, because the portfolio will allow Rreef to place current tenants in high-quality warehouse/distribution space in Benicia and capitalize on the growing office market in Concord.
