CARLSBAD, CA-Construction is nearly complete on Aston Views Corporate Center, a two-story office building totaling 85,000 sf. Convera Inc. has signed a five-year lease for 30,411 sf of space within the project at 1808 Aston Ave. in a deal valued at $3.6 million.

Convera, a content management solutions company, will occupy the space beginning in November. The new company was formed when Excalibur Technologies combined with Intel’s Interactive Media Services Division.

Dan Oury, Kent Moore and Rick Reeder of Business Real EstateBrokerage Co./NAI represented the lessor in the transaction. Brian French of Irving Hughes negotiated for the lessee.
