WestWorld Management Inc. hired the Austin team to manage and lease Lakewood Center, situated at 6801 N. Capital of Texas Highway, and the Park at 8300 N. MoPac Expressway. WestWorld is the US management entity of Wereldhave NV, an international real estate fund, based in The Hague.
WestWorld and Jones Lang LaSalle have had a working relationship in other markets since 1998, says Clint Harrington, vice president and general manager of Jones Lang LaSalle's Gulf Coast region.
The 92,221-sf Lakewood Center and 93,312-sf Park are fully leased. The Austin office of Kennedy-Wilson Inc. previously managed and leased the properties.
Jones Lang LaSalle, in its second year in Austin, has more than one million sf in its capital city portfolio, which includes EDS, Sprint, Sun Microsystems, the Shidler Group, Wells Fargo, Aon, Clear Channel Communications and Kaplan Education Center.
