Greg Johnston of Colliers Oxford Commercial in Austin represented the tenants in the deals. Jeff Knavel acted for the Centre's building owner, SD&A, and Chad Auler represented Ed and Susan Auler in the lease at 1402 San Antonio.Evacyte is developing technology for early detection of cancer in cells. The company moved from about 2,000 sf at the Reserve, located at 500 N. Capital of Texas Highway. The Centre, which is at the intersection of Lamar Boulevard and US Highway 183, has 204,270 sf.

The AeA, which lobbies the Texas Legislature on behalf of technology companies, has set up shop an a house renovated into offices by the Aulers. The building also contains the business of the Auler's winery, Fall Creek Vineyards.

Steve Kester, the AeA's director of government and public affairs in Austin, tells GlobeSt.com that the organization now has two offices in Texas. One is headquartered in Dallas and the South Texas Council is in Austin.

Johnny Anderson, formerly chief executive of HotData, an Austin software company, has joined the AeA has executive director of the South Texas Council. In May, Group 1 Software, based in Lanham, MD, bought HotData.
