Irving-based JPI has had its Austin office at the 98 San Jacinto, an office tower on the Town Lake shoreline. Besides more space, the new office, which overlooks MoPac Expressway, affords JPI's workers quicker access to the company's Austin projects.

JPI is subleasing the space from Humana Healthcare, which is leasing 38,185 sf (one floor) from Dallas-based Prentiss Properties, the building's owner. Other tenants in the four-story, 172,712-sf Barton Skyway III include Vignette Corp. and the law firm of Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich. Carl Condon and Ford Alexander of Colliers Oxford Commercial represented Humana.

JPI's Austin developments are outside the downtown area. Jefferson at Sunset Valley is south at 5800 Brodie Lane; Jefferson Center is in the far northwest area near the intersection of Parmer Lane and RR 620; and Jefferson Lakes is close to Lake Travis at 7655 N. RR 620.
