Possible Port Director Pool Drained to Two

PORTLAND-Only Portlanders remain in the running for Port of Portland's executive director position, which will have overall management responsibility for four airports, five marine terminals and several business parks, among other things.

PORTLAND-If they aren’t local, they are no longer in the running for the Pot of Portland’s executive director spot. That’s the word from Port Commission this week, which says it won’t offer the job to either one for at least a month.

Still in the running are Mathew Chapman, the former CEO of Portland software company CFI Pro Services, and Bill Wyatt, chief of staff for Gov. John Kitzhaber. No longer in the running are Kenneth Krauter, a 20-year veteran of port management and chief executive for the Port of Jacksonvile, and Tay Yoshitani, the new executive director for the Port of Oakland.
