William L. Lee, a specialist in international law and finance and an advisor to companies and governments in Europe, the U.S. and Asia, has been named senior managing director of European operations. Lee will divide his time between London, Milan and Geneva, expanding SKB's investor base in Europe and Asia and representing SKB in potential investment and other opportunities.

Lee has international relations degrees from Stanford University and George Washington University and is a graduate of the Harvard Law School. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations in New York and The Institut Francais des Relations Internationales in Paris. From 1961 to 1966, Lee served in the U.S. Foreign Service and had been a partner in Shearman & Sterling from 1968-1992 in Paris.

Since 1992, Lee has been a principal in Triangle Group, which does mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and real estate development in Europe, SKB principal Bob Scanlan tells GlobeSt.com. "We've been contemplating how to establish better investor relations opportunities in Western Europe, as during my recent travels there I've encountered strong investor interest in what we at SKB do," said Scanlan. "With Mr. Lee's long standing relationships throughout Europe, we expect to accelerate our investor interest from Europe."
