Deutsche Post's UK subsidiary Danzas will occupy the building, using Dawley Park's last remaining 6.9 acres. The facility fronting Dawley Road will include around 36,000 sf of offices. Construction has already started and is scheduled for completion in February 2002.

The 14 acre Dawley Park development project occupies the former Thorn-EMI site at Hayes, and the prelet to Deutsche Post follows previous lettings of 140,000 sf to Hawker Pacific Aerospace and 35,000 sf to John Guest. AXA REIM, manager of the Sun Life fund, was advised by Rogers Chapman and CB Hillier Parker .

Richard Sullivan at Rogers Chapman said: 'This letting demonstrates the continued demand for large sheds by major freight forwarding companies. The deal sends out a strong message that despite a perceived downturn, the warehouse/industrial market in West London is still extremely buoyant.'Property Consultant John Richardson acted for Deutsche Post/Danzas.
