LOS ANGELES-A handful of West Hollywood’s entertainment and political powerhouses will gather at the former Playboy Corp. headquarters today to celebrate the building’s transformation into a class A office facility.

The renovation of the 10-story building will be marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:15 a.m. It will be held in the facility’s lobby entrance, which stands at 8560 Sunset Blvd. Some of the building’s tenants, which include Kopelson Entertainment, USA Intertainment Inc. and Creative Theme Restaurants Inc., will be on hand for the festivities. In addition, West Hollywood’s Mayor pro tem Sal Guarriello, Assemblyman Paul Koretz and several council members will be in attendance.
