DENVER-Attorney A. Thomas Downey is trading politics and public service for

DENVER-A. Thomas Downey, who served as the campaign manager for the Gore/Lieberman campaign in Colorado, now is ”of counsel” in the real estate department of the Denver office of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll LLP. Downey, who has also served as assistant attorney general for Colorado, will focus his practice on real estate litigation, administrative law and public policy.

Currently, he serves on the budget committee of the Colorado Bar Association and as of chair of the membership committee of the Denver Bar Association. He received his bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary and his law degree from Villanova University.
