Ruth McCoy Named Executive Director of Brown Harris Residential

NEW YORK CITY-Ruth McCoy, executive director of the retail brokerage division of Feathered Nest since 1999, has been named executive director of Brown Harris Stevens’ Downtown residential sales division. Feathered Nest, a Brown Harris affiliate since 1998, leases and sells residential properties here.

A 19-year real estate industry veteran, she will oversee the firm’s recently opened office at 2 Fifth Ave and another office new office set to open in Tribeca. In her new post, she will be in charge of all Downtown sales and on-site sales activity.

Before landing at Feathered Nest, McCoy served as director of marketing and sales for Two Trees Management Co. Prior to that she was a vice president/manager at Douglas Elliman.
